Plain and short.
01 — Who we are
These terms are between you and Pavin, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“Pavin”, “we”). They cover the website at pavin.tech and the Pavin Lock mobile app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them.
02 — Your account
You need an account to use the app. Keep your password private and tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. You must be at least 18 to create an account.
03 — Acceptable use
Use the Service only for locks you own or have been given access to. Do not try to open locks you are not authorised to open, interfere with the Service, or use it to break any law.
04 — Access you share
When you give another person access to a lock, you are responsible for that choice. Remove access you no longer want to grant. Some credentials stored in the lock itself can only be removed at the lock.
05 — Email and notifications
We send account and security messages by email and push notification: sign-in codes, welcome notes, lock and security alerts, and password resets. These are part of running the Service. We do not send marketing email.
06 — Availability
The Service depends on your phone, your network, the lock hardware and third-party cloud services. We aim to keep it running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep a physical way to open your door.
07 — Liability
To the extent the law allows, Pavin is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
08 — Ending your account
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
09 — Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
10 — Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Questions go to app@pavin.tech.
